On Monday, I start new adventures in setting up at a 3rd-5th library. I have always loved the library and dreamed of one day working in one. I am excited, but a little nervous in stepping out of my comfort zone. I know it is irrational to be nervous as this is my 19th year teaching and have been volunteering in the classroom since the sixth grade, but I have always worked with PK-2nd grade students. Follow me as I navigate this new path in my life and hopefully can help these kids find what books they are passionate about. The one thing that makes this easier is I have been with many of these kids since they were in Kindergarten and am moving up with my 2nd graders! Let the fun begin!
